How to Make Breakfast Pizza

- Select the ingredients you wish to include on your breakfast pizza. Some obvious examples include bacon, sausage and eggs. Other choices might include bell peppers, feta cheese, spinach, smoked salmon or goat cheese.

- Coat your pizza crust with a layer of the sauce of your choice. You do not need to use traditional tomato pizza sauce if you don't think it would go with your chosen toppings. If nothing else, however, coat the entire top of the crust with a thin layer of olive oil.

- Sprinkle cubes of mozzarella cheese over the pizza. Use more or less depending on your personal preferences for cheese. If you wish to include another cheese, such as goat cheese or feta, use less mozzarella to compensate.
- Distribute your toppings evenly over the pizza. For the most part, you can put them down in any order that you wish. If you wish to put eggs on your pizza, however, leave them off for now. You can also leave off other delicate ingredients that would not withstand the baking process. Guacamole, for example, does better as a finishing touch.

- Bake your pizza as directed on the crust package or in the recipe for the crust you made. If you wish to add eggs to your breakfast pizza, break them in individual small bowls as soon as you put the pizza in the oven. Once the cheese is about halfway melted and the crust is just starting to gain color, pour the eggs onto the pizza. This leaves their yolks runny while giving the whites time to set.

- Remove the pizza from the oven when the cheese is fully melted and the crust is golden brown. Finish it with any last touches, such as guacamole, goat cheese, fresh basil leaves or other delicate items.
