Waking up feeling rested is essential if we want to have a good morning.
Not getting enough sleep and feeling tired in the morning can impact us all day. If you are getting enough sleep then you should wake up fairly easily when the alarm goes off. If you are having to hit the snooze button or you are dragging yourself out of bed then you might not be getting enough sleep.

Give yourself plenty of time in the morning.
Get up early enough so that you are not rushed and you can easily get everything done that you need to in the morning.

Energize yourself.
Exercise can really help to energize you. Just five minutes of stretching can make a difference.

Fuel up.
Eat a good breakfast. Breakfast is essential for having the energy we need to start the day off right. Eating breakfast also helps us to control weight and that is definitely the right way to have a good morning.

Relax.
Take some time for yourself in the morning. We can get so bogged down in getting kids off to school and taking care of everything else that we don't really take care of ourselves. Take a few minutes to relax and do your own thing. Read the newspaper or whatever else helps you to relax and refocus.

1- Don’t focus on what you have to do the next day. Thinking about future tasks and how you will get them done only leads to anxiety and worry. This can keep you awake and interrupt your peaceful night’s rest. Live only in the present moment and take things one step at a time.


2- Don’t eat or drink anything when it’s close to the time you go to bed. Stay away from caffeinated drinks such as sodas, tea, or coffee and don’t eat sweets--which have a lot of sugar in them. Let your mind go free as you soak in the tub. You deserve to have that time to yourself.

4- Doing a few yoga stretches or other light exercises can help you to relax your body and mind in order to sleep better. These exercises should not have you out of breath.
